Review by hotel critic
As a history teacher who revels in the nuances of culture, my recent stay at Arena was a delightful fusion of culinary and historical experiences. The location is perfect—quiet yet central, making it easy to explore nearby shoreline treasures. The staff was always responsive, answering my inquiries pre-trip, which set the tone for a smooth stay. The room, though modest, was clean and boasted a charming terrace where I enjoyed morning reflections. The breakfast buffet, available until 11:00, was a treat; I savored traditional Mediterranean flavors that reminded me of my own heritage. After breakfast, I wandered to nearby Sidreria Hermanos Rodriguez for a taste of local history through food. While the hotel's decor shows some signs of age, it has a character that resonates with the Mediterranean spirit—a wonderful starting point for any culinary enthusiast seeking adventure.
